Company matching and filtering with TravelPerk and the Personio integration

You can automatically allocate and filter users by company on TravelPerk with the Personio integration.

To match and filter by company on TravelPerk with the Personio integration:

The company names on TravelPerk and Personio must be identical

1. Go to Account settings
2. Under Account, select Companies
3. Check the company names on TravelPerk and make sure they are identical to Personio
4. On Personio, the company names are in the Subcompany field - we recommend that you copy and paste the company name from there

Names are case and character-sensitive, so they must be identical.

Add Subcompany as a readable employee attribute in Personio  

1. On your Personio account, go to Settings
2. Select Integrations, then select API Credentials
3. Click the credential used
4. Under Readable Employee Attributes, select Subcompany from the drop-down menu
   
   
   
   
5. Click Save

Edit your existing Personio integration 

1. Go to Account settings
2. Select Integrations
3. Find the Personio integration and click Manage
4. Click Edit
5. On the pop-up, click Map fields and then Map fields again
   
6. Search for and select Subcompany
7. Click Save mappings 
   
   
   
   
8. It may take around 10 to 20 minutes to save, depending on the number of users you have in Personio
9. Click Finish Setup

Reconnect the TravelPerk and Personio integrations

Companies must already be set up in TravelPerk using the exact name that is in Personio. 

1. Go to Account settings
2. Select Integrations
3. Find the Personio integration and click Manage
4. Next to Sync settings, click Configure
   
   
   
   
5. If you only want to add certain companies, you can filter them 
6. TravelPerk can automatically assign employees to companies synced from Personio. You can choose to automatically assign all companies or only selected companies
   
   
   

If you choose only selected companies, anyone new who is not part of the selected company will be assigned to the default company.
