Open return train tickets

An open return is a flexible ticket that doesn't make you choose a specific return time or date. They are valid for one calendar month from the date of the outward journey. 

Open return tickets are only available for trains in the UK. 

All fare types are available, including Advanced Single, Anytime Return and Off Peak Return.

Book an open return ticket

1. Go to the Trains tab
2. Enter a departure location in the UK and the Open return option will appear
3. Select Open return
   
   
   
   
4. Enter the date, destination and travelers for your trip and click Search trains
5. Choose a train and fare, then click Continue
6. Select the Ticket delivery method
7. Click Add to trip
8. Give your trip a name and click Continue
