Archive and delete people

• Only Admins can use this feature

If you want to erase your personal data, contact one of your company Admins and request for your account to be deleted. 

Archive people

Archived people lose access to their TravelPerk account and can't be selected for new trips. Their past trip information will still be available on the Reporting and Trip pages.

To archive somone, follow these steps:

1. Go to the People page
2. Search for the traveller and click their name
3. At the bottom of the page, click Archive
   

SCIM - Azure/OKTA integrations and API implementation users can be archived on TravelPerk, but if they're still active in the original identity provider they will be marked as active on TravelPerk in the next sync.

Unarchive people

To unarchive someone, follow the Delete user instructions below and select Unarchive. 

• When you unarchive someone, their personal information and company settings will be restored.
• Unarchiving someone in BambooHR will not automatically unarchive them on TravelPerk. 

Delete people

When you delete someone, their personal data is removed from your account. Their past trip information will still appear on the Reporting and Trip pages without any personal information.

Once a traveler's account is deleted from the platform, it cannot be restored. 

To delete someone, follow these steps:

1. Go to the People page
2. Select the Archived tab
3. Search for the traveler and click their name
4. At the bottom of the page, click Delete

Personal data for deleted people

We retain some personal data to comply with legal obligations. We have specific retention policies and procedures so this data is deleted or anonymized after a reasonable time.

You can archive, unarchive and delete multiple users at the same on the People page. Tick the checkbox next to the travelers' names and the options will appear at the bottom of the page.
