Add extra baggage after booking a flight

If you’ve already booked a flight, you can still add additional carry-on or checked baggage.

1. Go to the Trips page
2. Find the trip you want to add extras to and click Manage trip
   
3. Select Manage baggage and seats
   
   
   
   
4. Go to Bag Selection, click Add
5. Select the type of baggage you want to add and click Add baggage
6. Once the extra baggage has been added, we’ll send a notification to the person who made the booking and any travelers.

For all flights arriving or departing from the US and Canada, extra checked baggage can only be added at the airport when checking in. 

Add additional baggage when booking a flight

You can add additional carry-on or checked baggage on the Extras page when booking a flight.

If the fare already includes a carry-on bag, it will be automatically selected. If it isn’t included, depending on the airline, you may be able to purchase a carry-on bag on the extras page.

If available, additional checked baggage options are displayed or you can click Show more options. Once you've selected the one that suits you best, click Add flight to trip. 

If you can't see additional baggage options, the flight may not offer them or they have sold out.
